The story revolves around a 7 year old girl named Sarah who loves to read and owns hundreds of books (literally). The story starts with her picking up the first book and experiencing reading for the first time. She looks around to see that she is in another place. She is very amused by that, and this shows the start of her reading journey. With each book she reads, she travels to different places, goes on many adventures, meets a lot of characters and makes friends. By reading, she is transported to other worlds and the experiences that she has, encourages her to read more. In short, the story shows how reading leads to imagination, takes you through so many journeys between the pages, helps you to understand the characters’ emotions and be sympathetic with them.
